Mother’s Day is a lovely moment to pause and reflect on just how much us mums do every single day.

At Hushabye Hands, we’re lucky enough to see it up close week in and week out.

We see the mums and grandmas cuddling their babies close during class.

We see you chasing curious toddlers around the room.

We see the tired smiles after another broken night’s sleep.

And yes… we see the attempts to drink a hot cup of tea or coffee before it goes cold. It rarely happens. 🙈

But despite the tiredness, the chaos and the endless to do lists, you keep showing up.

Showing Up Matters More Than You Think

One of the most beautiful things about the early years is how much love and effort parents pour into their children.

You show up when you're exhausted.

You comfort them through big feelings.

You celebrate every tiny milestone, from a first roll to a first sign or first step.

Those moments might seem small, but they mean everything to your little ones.

The Pressure on Modern Mothers

Motherhood today comes with a lot of expectations.

We’re often told babies should sleep alone, eat at certain times, follow strict routines and fit neatly into society’s idea of what childhood should look like.

But every child is different.

And the families we meet in our classes show something really important: there isn’t just one way to raise a child.

Raising Little Humans Who Feel Safe and Loved

What we see in our classes is parents who are raising children with love, patience and trust.

Children who are encouraged to explore.

Children who are allowed to feel their emotions.

Children who are learning to communicate, connect and grow at their own pace.

You’re not just getting through the day.

You’re shaping little humans who know they are loved, who feel safe to be themselves and who are learning to trust the world around them.

A Little Reminder This Mother’s Day

Motherhood isn’t easy. It’s emotional, exhausting and sometimes overwhelming.

But it’s also incredibly powerful.

So this Mother’s Day, we just want to say something simple to the mums who walk through our doors each week:
